In order to fully unleash the potential of our experienced and competent team and to demonstrate that we are professionals in the field, we undertake unusual projects, the implementation of which requires a great deal of specific information. This time, we made use of all our technological, engineering, construction and production knowledge and built a River Cruiser cruise ship in cooperation with a Dutch ship design company.
The building work at the request of the Dutch company was commenced on 22 April of the current year. We finished the work under the project in less than 8 months: an 881-tonne four-decker ship with the working name “NB 492” was launched as early as on 14 December. An average of 45 members of our team contributed to the production of the 135-meter-long and 11.5-meter-wide cruise ship, while the number of those at work at peak times reached 65 people.
We have performed all production work from A to Z, so we are familiar with and have thoroughly tested each and every element of NB 492.
The cruise ship is designed for inland navigation: it will soon be able to carry tourists on the Dutch canals. We have implemented the project on time and are proud of the great result. The success of the project was determined by our professionalism, experience and receptivity to innovations: we viewed the task as a challenge and bravely took up production work.
